I like to thank the following people whose contributions shaped this song;
Captain Fantastic - Vocals, guitar (2nd solo right side)
Musobass - Harp
Jimbo - Guitar, slide guitar (3rd solo left side).
Someone close to me suffers from depression and he gave me the first 2 lines and the idea (and his blessing) for the song. I wouldn't like anybody to think that I take such a serious illness lightly.
Black Dog blues (c) 2011 toadman
Well I can't get outta bed, I've been living inside my head
Lucky I got room in there to spare
I can't find a groove, I don't wanna even move
Life's fabric is completely threadbare
What's the point of livin' when dying's such a given
What's the point of tryin' when I only feel like cryin'
You heard it girls, you know it men
I got them ole black dog blues again
Some days when I wake up, I know I need a shake up
There's people out there doin' it hard
I know that I've been blessed and I'm ready to confess
I wouldn't know want if it bit me on the a**e
What's the point..........etc

Sounds great guys. Ralph has just the right edge to his vocals, that works really well on here. We need to get Mike to play more of that harp! 8) 8)

Thank you, John. You're right about gettin' Mike to play more harp.

Hey Mick
Sounds real good man. Nothing like good old rockin roll.
-
Sounds like you had a lot of fun with one, like the telephone style vocals >:D
