This track was originally done as a solo project, but Andy convinced me to post it up as a collab so that additional bass and drums could be added. I'm glad he did because the result is excellent! Great playing by my 2 co-collaborators and thanks for making this shine! :)
Bass : Andy
Drums : Marcel
Music, arrangement, guitars and mixing : Mick
I hope you enjoy this track.

Hi Mick,
Great to see this in the finished section!!
A lovely composition, one of your best, and thank you for being kind enough to let me play a part in it!! I did cajole, plead and twist your arm though didnt I lol.
Your guitar parts are wonderful, as is the keys/pads. Marcel's drumming is top notch too.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

The musicianship here never ceases to amaze me. If you keep this up you just might make me a believer in instrumentals. While i would still love to hear a voice tell a story in melody that doesn't take away from the fact that is a great piece of music all by itself.
Very nice job.

Thanks for listening Paul. I knew a man with your soul would appreciate the mood of the song :)

Yes, you did twist a little :) But I'm glad you did and the result is excellent! You got the right feel for the bass on this and I am very happy with the result. Thanks mate :)

Glad you are enjoying the track :) I don't write instrumentals very often, but this one had a quality to it where I felt it didn't need vocals. But you never know, we can always dig this up again some time and add a vox track. Thanks for listening :)

Very nice, guys! I would love to hear vocals on this - the picked parts cry for it IMO. The heavier section sounds great.
The mix sounds good to me too (listening on the PC speakers), and all the parts work together nicely.
Regards,
Steffen

Thanks for listening Steffen, Paulo and Doc, really appreciate it. I guess vocals are a possibility somewhere along the line :)

This sounds great Mick! I've listened so many times to the original track you posted (which only went up to the first guitar solo), and this is just sooooooo much nicer to hear this in it's complete form. How could adding Andy and Marcel NOT help?! :D
Great collab you guys! 8)
I didn't know at first which song this was, but as soon as the music started I found myself singing the words I abandoned for this way back when.
