This is a remake of an old tune (some may remember it) with a completely different arrangement, and with different vocals too.

the drums really pulled it all together.
while the singing was fun...i wish i were a better singer.
i think the chorus turned out good but still think i didn't quite nail the verses.
by the way...great final mix.

Steffen I like your mix, the drums sound quite loud for the mixes I have heard from you in the past >:D Obviously the way I like it 8)

Mark, I cannot hear anything wrong with the vocals. I think you captured the feel of the song perfectly.
Steve, yes, my way of mixing drums has changed a bit, and so has my attitude apparently. It depends on the song though. I still don't like too dominant drums and (especially) bass in general, but my taste keeps expanding. I sometimes realize that I like music now that I wouldn't listen to a couple of years ago.

Did you not play that cool organ track, you should credit that. It's good enough to merit a higher presence in the mix!

I seem to remember this in it's previous incarnation...was it sang by Tricia before ?
The chorus is the bit I remember ( a good thing ! )
Some nice guitars on there, and it zips along with a good rock groove. I would probably like to hear a more powerful drum sound but that's just me ;)

Andy, yes, I did play the organ - as awkward as always. :) Not necessary to mention that in the credits IMO.
Donna, it's not really so different - this is actually much closer to my favorite genres (classic rock/progressive rock). :)
But I do like a broad range of music styles, and I do not focus on the same genre all the time.
Mark, the original singer was Mark Fletcher. I'll do another version with his vocals and the new arrangement when I find the time.
