Title: IN2U ... New 2015 Version "The Klunk"
Post by: Stoney on January 18, 2015, 11:05:23 AM
Ok Guys
Sorry I haven't been around much for a while but my baby boy and wifes ill health doesn't give me much music time these days.... That being said Mike Woodford and I started a project early last year where we hoped to be able to get a live gigging band together but the lack of time and dedicated local musicians means that it has been shelved for now.

I was playing around the other day with the various files that had been submitted for the new version of this and picked out what I thought were the best bits and came up with this version... I have to say I think everyone played their socks off and I love it but see what you think

Lead Guitar - Mike Woodford (Snowdoguk)
Bass Guitar - Andreas Glummert
Keys - Richard Lockett
Vocals - Teresa Gibbon
Drums/Production/Song - Ian Burrage (Stonehead)

Teresa and Richard did join up on MCS however I don't think they are active at the moment

In2U - Ian Burrage 09

Verse 1
I never wanted this
I had to love you
Broken in your fist
my life was unglued

You are way too fast
let's take it sloway
if this is gonna last
don't try and own me

Chorus
Let me see that you can be all the things to set me free
You take me up to knock me down pull me out before I drown
break my bones and help me mend sit me up and start again
A sugar rush with no end you are my foe and my best friend

Verse 2
When I needed you
You found me
Too good to be true
You astound me

Bridge
You took me out of lost and found
Turned my life upside down
I'm into you (Into you)
There is no other I can see
Can do the things you do for me
I'm into you (Into you)

Middle
And my god it scares me
What I'd do without you
Would it be the end of me
Could it be true

Verse 4
You are way too fast
Lets take it slowly
If this is gonna last
Dont try and own me

Weird ... in a good way!

Nice to hear something from you again. Classy songwriting, as usual.

I'm with Stoman on this one. It's different however probably in a good way.

Lyrics needs editing. Verse 1 and 4 are combined for the first verse.

Good job on the song.  8)

Thanks guys ... I had forgotten about the lyrics ... I extended the first verse compared to the original as it was too short .. I just copied and pasted from the original (lazy) :)

Wishing you and your family good health Ian.
Great new stuff! Teresa reminds me very much of Deborah Harry(Blondie). 8)
Cheers,
John
