Title: here comes the rain
Post by: feaker on June 29, 2017, 08:30:40 AM
This is the latest song I have been working on.  I think I have the levels about right, but wondering if the vox is too hot and the drums maybe too low?  This song is all natural with me playing the guitars and singing.  My buddy Jeff is playing the drums.  The dude lost his girl and can't get a grip, especially when he sees her in a bar.  ha ha  I hope I don't sound as old (68) as I look.  thanks for listening

Sincerely

Paul

This is a very nice song, Paul!

I think the levels are exactly how they should be. The drum mix could be a little tighter, the bass could be tamed a tad, and the overall room could be a little more consistent, but that's really all just nit-picking.

Seems like you are a talented guy! :)

Hi Stoman   I love my drummer from my old band, but he always had a few timing issues.  ha ha  I think I might go in there and see how those beats land as compared to the other song parts.  Might do a little shifting ::)

Thanks for listening and commenting.

Sincerely

Paul
