2020 Remix......took the opportunity to redo the bass. Mixed by Mike Lucas.

Bpm:75/150 (6/8 rhythm)

Intro: Bm/A/Afigure x 4
(v1)
Bm
Through the seas that rage
                               F#m
That reflect the sullen skies
     Em                     Bm
My quest for you has been a long time
        F#m              Bm
How I want for it to end

Looking for the signs
With a pair of longing eyes
Dreaming of you while in sleep and awake
I am ready to descend  ....

(chorus)
  D
I search for you, Atlantis
               Am
Where the distant horizons curves
               C                     G
Where the seas rise up and swallow the sun
F#m      A               E
As the ocean waves roll
    Bm
I'll search for you, Atlantis
       Am
Until time is finally done
    C                       G
To be with you for a life eternal

F#m             A     Bm
At the deep ocean floor

Guitar Solo1: Bm/A/A figure x 2, Em/Bm/F#m/Bm

(v3)
The winds carry your whispers
That echo through my ears
Signs of you are found on land and on sea
Your vision before my eyes
(v4)
I hunger to discover
The long hidden secret of you
To share your fears your smiles and the tears
Unburdened and un-denied
(bridge)

To me, you were never a myth; you're the one I want to be with

Forever, and ever, and I never want to lose the thought of you
Never, lose sight of you

Hi Paul,

An old chestnut indeed.

Sometimes when I go through the finished songs, I marvel at the number of songs we have done together.

You're a class act Paul, and a pleasure to work with.

Andy

I remember working on this. Nice remix - more body and a fuller. Well done.  :)

I seem to remember I was listening to Blackmore's Night in this period...also I think it is from an era when my handle was guitargeorge, rather than napoleonboot. The good old days.

Regards
George

That's some great reminiscing George.

Now that your mention it I do get the Blackmore's Night vibe in your guitars. The twin guitar lines worked really well, joined by J's synth lines at places.

For me, I remember listening to Wishbone Ash a lot at that time, so I was writing for a Ballad of the Beacons type of sound.

The phasey effect on Steve's vocals is wonderful for that underwater feel.

Paul's lyrics, are top class, as always.
