I'd like to personally thank Nick, Steve & Steve for their contributions on this one - my deepest appreciation to you all... Now that's it's complete, we'd love to hear your opinion...
Keep Holding On
(c) 2004 Michael Taub, Mark Smith
Steve McAndrew - Vocals
Steve Jordan - Organ
Nick Testa - Guitars, Bass, Drums
Nick Testa - Master Mixologist
Verse 1
The moon, the stars,
The constellations
Keep spinnin' 'round
In anticipation
Pushing, pulling
Longing to be free
Separation from their gravity
Chorus
Can you tell meeee...
Can you tell me, where we went wrong?
How long can weeee...
How long can we, keep holding on?
Verse 2
The tide, the waves,
In full lunation
Come crashing down
T'ward abomination
Ebbing, flowing
Rushing from the sea
Frustration for all eternity
Chorus
Can you tell meeee...
Can you tell me, where we went wrong?
How long can weeee...
How long can we, keep holding on?
Bridge
When was the last time we adored the night sky together?
Or splashed through the undertow on a summer afternoon?
Our worlds once overlapped
We were enshadowed
But today,
I just don't know...
I just don't know...
Chorus
Can you tell meeee...
Can you tell me, where we went wrong?
How long can weeee...
How long can we, keep holding on?

Cool song guys, great job to all involved!

The song for some reason, to me at least, screams "Rocky Horror" but that is a good thing since the sound tract for that show had a lot of great tunes in it. >:D

Thanks for reminding me of this, I'd forgotten :-[ :) 8)
the lyrics are slightly different to the original and I actually sing -
Verse 1
The moon meets the stars,
The constellations
Keep spinnin' 'round, round and round
In anticipation
Pushing, pulling
Longing to be free
Separation from their gravity
Chorus
Can you tell meeee...
On can you tell me, where we went wrong?
How long can weeee...
Just how long can we, keep holding on?
Verse 2
The tide, made up from the waves,
In full lunation
Come crashing down, down and down
Toward abomination
Ebbing and flowing
Rushing from the sea
Frustration for all eternity
Chorus
Can you tell meeee...
On can you tell me, where we went wrong?
How long can weeee...
Just how long can we, keep holding on?
Bridge
When was the last time we enjoyed the night sky together?
Or splashed through the undertow on a sunny afternoon?
Our worlds once overlapped
We were enshadowed
But today,
I just don't know...
I just don't know...
Chorus
Can you tell meeee...
On can you tell me, where we went wrong?
How long can weeee...
Just how long can we, keep holding on?
Repeat Chorus
