Title: Best Practices for using MusiciansCollaboration.com
Post by: NickT on March 06, 2006, 10:47:56 PM
I am quite sure this will evolve with use...but I feel we should set up an outline so that we can all make the best of this Studio. Here are the basics. Please feel free to suggest changes"

Setting up your Collaboration and Players

This is the short list, but you should get the idea. it is going to take a little while to get the content up on this page. I encourage all of you with knowledge to contribute with articles and facts.

Thanks you for your help in making MusiciansCollaboration.Com a premiere online studio site!

When you post...just below the text box...you will see:

Additional Options...

Click to open and you will see attach. Just browse to the file on your drive and hit post.

That easy!

Hi NickT,

I'm not sure where to post small 30-60 sec pieces of ideas for collaboration.
I'll explain better....I'm not one to start or complete a whole song by myself.
I've always worked as a idea man /team player and would like to start something fresh.
I think it would be cool to see how something develops from a guitar/keyboard riff, percussion pattern or vocal verse/chorus.

Any thoughts ?

Basil

Hey CD,

Thanks for pointing that out .....I never knew it was there.
I just checked the Musical Opinion Section and this would be good for this purpose.
I'll have to record my ideas and hopefully find a writing partner

Thanks
Basil

Thanks CD!

Sorry I missed this basil...been sick! :(

Musical Opinions is a good place to go fishing. If you find a writing partner, move it over to the studio.
