This collaboration took it's own time to complete but I think the end result was completely worth the wait!
Once again I was lucky to find an awesome gang of singers/musicians who joined together to bring this version home. Many thanks all of you.
I had some music lying around for a while that was going nowhere, till Griffo stepped in a with a worthy lyric and a fine vocal, AndyD came up with a multitude of great guitar parts, Paulo weaved it all together with a sumptous pallette of keyboard work and my old friend Holger chipped in with an acoustic guitar part which seamed in effortlessly to complete the sonic picture.
Finally Paulo capped it all with a great mix.
I hope you enjoy the listen, we have another version in the works which we hope to present sooner rather than later.

You've Got To Roll With It (Andy Gupta/Glen Griffin, (c) 2011)
life sometimes throws you an awkward curved ball
and the way that you play it will be judged by them all
like a sail boat riding along in a storm
take her straight to the waves ..............yeh hit em front on
like all the kings horses and all the kings men
sometimes things cant be put back together again
so you dust yourself off and you try to pretend
that the hurt doesn't show..................and the pain stays within.........
(Chorus)
you got to roll with it
yeh just got to flow
you got to roll with it
let your self grow
get down deep in your soul with it
just let it roll
roll with it...just let it roll
(guitar solo)
well i know what you're doing i've been down this road
and i've seen all the ugly that people can throw
but you don't have to reap what another man sows
choose your own path to life ............and let your self grow
(chorus)
you got to roll with it
yeh just got to flow
you got to roll with it
let your self grow
get down deep in your soul with it
just let it roll
roll with it...just let it roll
(bridge)
there's too many people alone in their beds
they have no direction there lives are a mess
but the way out is what they've been keeping repressed
blame it all on yourself.........................................well i couldn't care less
(Synth solo)
(chorus)
you just got to roll with it....
just got to flow ....
you got to roll with it
just let it grow
get down deep in your soul with it
just let it roll
you got to roll with it
just let it roll
(Outro guitar solo)
Roll with it.......roll with it...roll with it ...roll with it......

Nice one ;D... Sounds like the oldies 70's progressive bands, I guess.
Griffo sounds like Cat Stevens and Andy D a bit like Steve Hackett.
Just for the record, I had in mind the 70's bands and I just used what they had at the time, not much... Piano, Hammond, Mellotron and Moog... These days we have so much, geee!!!... In the end most of it is crap.
