I like the verses and the vibe of this but I'm still not convinced that you nailed the chorus parts and drove the message home effectively, but it's still a pretty sounding track though not my fave of yours.

Thanks CD. I felt comfortable with it. So I went on and sent it to Don to do. Since he does Folk music and it would help with the feeling. I'm glad you like some of my other work. I have been away from here for awhile trying to get my site up and going. (www.freezerecords.com)

I need to get back over here and working some more with everyone. Glad you listened.

Well you know that is what I'm always looking for. How do we get better if you don't get one. Thanks CD.

Thanks Paul for checking it out.

I remember our discussion about this lyric, and (as you know) I tend to agree with CD on that matter. But it is a great song, no doubt. :)

And a wonderful voice. I must say that again.

Congrats,

Hi Eugene,

I really like this song. It resonates with me personally since I'm a big bookworm and when I was young I treated books almost as though they were good friends. I visited Africa a few years ago, and the way the children reacted to simple things like pens and notebooks, did make me realize that the stuff we take for granted isn't common everywhere. Your song makes me think of the little kids in the schools there every time.

I find "Sharks never seen" is bit unusual a lyric, but that's a small quibble.

Good song on an unusual topic. Was it written for a specific charity or fundraiser?

Hello Peterk1

Thank you for enjoying this song. You will find I like writing about unusual things. I hate when you see the same o'things being done. I wrote this hoping maybe one day someone that does book charity work could use it if they wanted.

The Sharks Never Seen is just the though of children never getting to see sharks if they are land locked unless its through books. If there isn't any books then Sharks would never be seen.

Thanks again for checking it out and enjoying it. Share it with everyone if you want.
