Here is another old song from around 2012 that I remixed. Andy provided a new bass take for this one, too.

This was the original collaboration thread in "Studio A":

Hi Steffen,

Good to hear this version, I think it sounds super!

The middle "groove" section cooks nicely I think. Bill played some tasty stuff in there!

Hey Paul,

We were "flash" those days werent we?

Superb. Much better than the original mix. I had almost forgotten this one.

Style change from verse to chorus is a nice surprise, even though I was part of creating the song

My we've done a lot of good music!

Whooooooaaaaaah...Guys, this is fantastic. Really nice melody, wonderful change-up into the chorus, tremendous vocals, intelligent lyrics (as always) from Paul.
Steffen, so good to hear one your mixes again. :)

Excellent collaboration all around.  :)

Thanks, George and Donna! Sorry, I missed your responses and just discovered them now when I went to see if I had already posted the new mix.

George, I totally agree. "Lizard Men" and "Lost In Izmir" will be next, BTW. :)

I just relistened.

Andy's bass line in the breakdown section starting at 2'28 before the instrumental is just top class, especially the whacky prhasing at 2'58 which Bill countered on guitar.

Bill's guitar tone and touch is also superb.

The new mix really brings it all to life. Well done Steffan.

I am really proud of this now, but at the time I though it was just so-so.
