I saw an article that AOL bought winamp and killed it. So I uninstalled winamp and went a looking for a new free player. I'm currently evaluating Zoom Player. Seems to have a number of cool features and supports MP3, WMA .APE and  .WV. I'll let you know how it works out. The other cool thing is the pro version will also do DRM.

Hey Bassplayer. Check out jet audio for their player...

http://www.jetaudio.com/

I've got it on my machine at home - plays just about every format out there. You can add verb, different skins and tons of other features. Also, the pro version has BBE you can add to any format you like.

Good luck!

Geoff
