Welcome,
This is a song that I wrote back in the 70's that is light years away from my life today. To paraphrase 'Star Wars"; A long time ago in a galaxy far away, I wrote these words.
Cosmic Cowboy
Remember the days of your youth,
Your searches for beauty and the words of eternal truth,
Fly on you cosmic cowboy.
But the look on your face,
Says all your dreams are misplaced,
Fly on you cosmic cowboy.
It's so plain to see, dreams replace reality, for you,
And what will you find, within the vistas of your mind revealed.... revealed.
So you slip off the chains of space and Time,
In search of the meanings hidden deep within the poets rhyme,
Fly, fly, cosmic cowboy.
And the rushes are so intense,
And the joys you find so immense,
Fly on you cosmic cowboy.
You're dying don't you know, but you love it so let go, for now.
Right now it really feels like Paradise or Strawberry Fields you know...don't you know.
Fly, fly on you cosmic cowboy
Fly, fly on you cosmic cowboy
Fly on you cosmic cowboy
THE CAST OF PLAYERS:Lead Guitar & Vocals: Pleasuredome

Bass, 12 String Guitar & mixing: Bassic Soul
Mastering: Paulo I am truly honored to work with a cast of players that are soo far above my pay grade and when I said that
you guys absolutely rock, I meant it from the heart. I need to send a special thanks to Steve for an inspired Lead Guitar & Vocal that changed the way I'd heard this song for twenty years. Now I can't hear it any other way. I believe that this is the first time Steve has worked on one of my tunes; I hope that it wouldn't be the last. I asked for a Pink Floyd kind of feel and everyone did outstanding work, I am thrilled with the outcome.
BTW: I've decided to shorten the song title to "Cosmic Cowboy".Thanks for looking in.
Preston
