911 Suite

Bobby got me thinking about my serious music on his website.

Here's a Suite in four movements I composed the day after 911. I suppose it was my way of finding some peace in the midst of such horror. Cal recently re-ignited my heartfelt feelings and sadness towards the victims of 911 with his moving lyrics title "Ground Zero".

I've been so busy writing songs I haven't had time to record in more depth (production-wise). When I retire I'll start recording more soundtrack music. 

I'm embarrassed to say I've only learned the bare essentials of the Motif workstation. I haven't even used samples yet. I have some great piano and string samples I could be using.

I'll get there sooner or later.

As much as I don't want to admit it, I still can't write anything which truly expresses what I feel about 9-11. It's almost too big for me to handle.
