Paul, Thanks for stopping by. It's certainly not everyone's cuppa tea, but with Ian's inspiration, it's still great fun.

Kinda like, Monty Python, meets Johnny Rotten ;D

Donna, thanks for stopping by. After your epic journey into deep space, this must been a real jolt...This is how we wake you up from suspended animation! ::)

Hey Marty100, this would be a richer place if you came around more often...
CBGBs, as it appears here, would never have happened without your inspiration. Read the posts, I gave you a whole paragraph, (that's a book for a two finger typer!!). ;D ;D

Cheers, my friend, and don't be a stranger! 8)

Hi Stoney and Johnny,

Yeah a real jolter - a happily ragged exercise in punk.

Well done lads!
Andy

:D  I love this tune. A punk vibe done in a crazy Stonehead way. Love it!!  8) The words are fantastic. I hate to say it but I remember those days. We had a bit of punk scene here in Vancouver back then. D.O.A., Pointed Sticks, Young Canadians, Modernettes, Braineaters, Dishrags, and Subhumans were just a few. Probably saw most of them play but I don't remember too much of it.   >:D

Cool tune Ian  8)

Thats damn decent of you Dave  :) :) ... Yes I survived those days too I remember seeing The Ruts in a church hall in Norwich and coming out drenched in spit ... nice  ???

There were some great bands about with so much raw energy which is sadly missing these days. I still play my old Xray Spex album with Polystyrene on vocals ...... The World Turned Dayglo .... cool

X ray spex !!  8) Sounds like you Ian only a female voice. I can see where you get your influences.  :D

Johnny, I've never been to the San Juan Islands but thanks for pointing that out to me. I was looking for somewhere to go for a day trip or a weekend and I live very close the islands. I'm actually about 5 min from the Peace Arch border in White Rock. I think that might be a nice trip.  8) I was just down in Washington on the weekend buying supplies from Lowe's.  :)

Hey J and Nick

Really glad you guys enjoyed a bit of punk loonacy... J those times are especially good looking back on them ...I played several gigs back then that I didn't expect to survive  :D... but the raw energy of bands around that time was fantastic..... and Nick I'm pleased you liked my daft mid link ..It needed a bit of daftness to bring in the "not so punky" mid that evolved.

Cheers Guys and thanks for the listen... much appreciated

Ian

"and England's dreaming"  ;D

Very funny guys and so true. This takes me back to my first band when I was 15 years old. We were called Legal Aid then changed our name to Vaginal Secretions. Yeah, we never got many gigs.  :o

My fav band back then was the UK Subs ("Who killed Liddle"?). Yeah, even an old tosser like myself has a punk past.

Goods times indeed, Ian.

Really good quality lyric and song guys - so nice to hear stuff like this here at MCS.

Billy.

Thanks Ian, I wrote the original lyric and Jonnie rewote it and then we worked together on it, fleshing out the idea that a person I found on linkedin.com that was in a Punk band with me 30 years ago, nolonger want to be associated. Johnnie added some more edgy stuff and only the title and a small amount of my original lyric is left in the latest version. Great collaboration, I appriciated you bringing it to life. I love your website. I'll try to vist here @MCS more often. Lets stay in touch
Peace
Marty

Hahaha ...Billy ..That has to be one of the worst band names in history but it was the right time for them wasn't it. ... I was in a band called "Ominus Klunk" which In thought was a cool name but I remember another band playing around Nottingham at the time called "Fred Foetus" ... I regret never seeing them play though.... That punk past will always get you  ;D ;D

Johnny and Marty...Just to let you guys know that the track is being played tonight 7.00pm GMT on Serious Music's live streaming radio show and I will try and drop in for a chat

Cheers Ian
