"Crash"

Featuring:

nitch - vocals, guitars, lyrics
kenny b - bass and keyes
albino - drums

Mixed by

Cosmic Dolphin (Hednesford Staffs Mix)
Nick T (Windy City Mix)
Stoman (German Mix)

Lyrics

Verse 1

I took your advice
It got me nowhere
And now I'm up to my knees and
I'm gasping for air
I'm falling down so hard tonight
I'm falling

Chorus

Walk right over me with your smile with your lips with your feeling
I live my life by the moment
Somebody catch me before I crash

Verse 2

I'm sick and tired
Of all your excuses
And the games you play
You're so fucking useless
I'm falling down so hard tonight
I'm falling

Repeat chorus x2

An epic song there, Parry. You are writing and singing with the big boys!

Kenny did an excellent job on the bass and keys. I like you're bass sound.

Three fantastic mixes and all are different, it's like the old days, you know, when people used to buy CD singles instead of downloading. You used to get three different mixes of the same song. I loved that and quite miss it. For me I think the Hednesford Staffs Mix nailed it, but that is not to say the other mixes didn't, they showed the song in different but equally excellent visions. Love It!

Absolutely superb effort by everybody involved. Would love to work with you all again.

Steve.

Great song Parry , thanks for letting me do a mix  :)

You can always tell the good ones by the number of people offering to mix, each version has it's it's own vibe which is cool.

I agree with Mark - the better a song is the more different ways to mix it can be applied.

We have three very different visions here, and each of them works very well IMO. Nick did a pop mix, mine is a more intimate alternative rock mix, and Mark's combines the best from both worlds. ;)

It was fun mixing this baby, especially because this music isn't usually my genre. But this song is so catchy, I keep whistling it, even when I wake up in the middle of the night. ;)

Smashing song (pun intended).

Yeah, you can hear all the different panning and compression variables used in all 3 mixes. Really tasty vocal performance Parry as is everything else, guys. You've done some fine work here.

Wow... buying CD'S? I remember buying at least one every week - Pearl Jam releases were always well anticipated and never disappointing.

Nowt wrong with Pearl Jam  ;) I was also waiting besides HMV on a early Monday morning (as I imagine you were), eagerly waiting to buy the next Pearl Jam offering.  ;D Those were the days.  :)

Wow, Steve, you can remember that? You must be older than the hills. ;) :D  8)

But I can top this! I can even remember a time when they used to play real music on the radio. And that music was really good. Almost as good as the music we find at MCS. :) 8)

It was Erasure with me.

Browsing the 12" records to find a Limited Edition of the latest single. I have some mint ones in coloured vinyl and all sorts.  I have a rare CD single that came with a Christmas Card & gift tag in the pack too.

Been listening to this song for a while now and i know it well enough to sing along...

I think all three mixes are superb. The song is so good it would be difficult to screw it up.

Nitch, you got great pipes, my friend, There's a Rod Stewart quality to your voice and this song showcases it well. To everyone involved...Cheers, and Best Wishes...Johnny 8)
