I believe you might call this song a true Global Collaboration. For me, working with so many first class musicians has been a experience I won't forget. I feel like I know each and everyone of them as a friend. :)

What started out as a simple blues tune, turned out to be a real musical production. With well over 30 tracks to mix and tweak. Well for me, it turned out to be a daunting task. I hope I've done it justice.

This is now my 3rd song completed at MC and it is also the most memorable one. I want to thank each of you for your contribution and perseverance in making this song come to fruition.

Paulo Gomez (Paulo) Keys - Portugal
Henry Mittnacht (DOCMIDNIGHT) LD Gtr and BU Vocals- Germany
George Williams (Guitar George) Lead Vocals - UK
Mick (Toadman) Slide Guitar -Australia
Billy as (Billy) Brass and Horns -
John (Mr Mom) Lyrics - Up State New York
Bob Stephen (Music Fort) Composition, Drum Programming, Bass,Guitars, Mixing and Mastering _Fort Pierce, Florida
EZ Drummer as (EZ) Percussions Located everywhere

Lyrics
I DON'T CARE

(v1)
You say that you love me
I know that ain't true
Cause your deeds keep proving
That I can't trust you
You say that you trust me
I say that's absurd
I just don't believe you
I don't trust your words

(Chorus)
I don't care... what you say to me

(v2)
I feel like a jester
When you hold me down
I'm not King of the Castle
When you wear the crown
You know all I asked for
Was to live my way
But all that you gave me
Was a ball and chain

(Chorus)
I don't care... what you say to me

(v3)
Before I met you
Back when I could breathe
I used to be happy
Look what you've done to me
You are making it awkward
To live a happy life
We were just a couple
Never a man and a wife

(Chorus)
I don't care... what you say to me

(Bridge)
I hate the drama
That you love so well
If someday you're in Heaven
Then I'm surely choosin' Hell
I'm tired of fighting
Cause that just ain't me
I was made for loving
So just let me be .. Yeah

(Solo)

(v4)
You say that you love me
I know that ain't true
Cause your deeds keep proving
That I can't trust you
You can't take my freedom
You can't take my name
You don't need my number
You just call to complain

(Chorus)
I don't care... what you say to me
I don't care... what you say to me

Wow great swamp blues tune gang ;). The brass gives this a big band flavour.

tw, the change for the mid is unexpected but very cool.

Great performances from everyone - not least from "George the voice" :).

When are you guys playing at the Coco Bongo CLub next  ;)

Andy

For as good as this song is Bob, it was accomplished in an unbelievably short amount of time. Seems that everyone had some "free" time at just the "right" time, to put together one helluva good song! 8) 8)
Beers all around for the whole gang... and a big thank you to Bob's wife for letting him ignore her and all his other chores while hiding out in his studio. :o ;D
Damn it Jim! I'm a WRITER - not a Doctor!!

This is a really slick sounding little recording, and I mean that in a good way! :)  Every performance hits the mark. Good job!

Thanks Bob. It's the first tme I've ever been called "first class" (or a "musician" :)).
And thank you for having me on board. It was a real pleasure.

As opposed to the title of the track a whole bunch of pretty creative musicians really took care about this song  ;)
It was a great pleasure to contribute and to turn out my bluesy kinda playing ^-^.

A supreme example for collabing here on MCS! :)

Maybe my favourite ever collaboration. I loved it.
George can often be found playing stringy things, and singing...

This sounds great, and the change took me by surprise  >:D

CD
We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten
